Connecting, 2023 (15 cm x 35 cm) Corkboarrd relief print with house paint and water on plywood

 I found a beautiful piece of cork board on the street, sketched out the image in a café, found a bottle opener (?) in the kitchen drawer, carved it in another café, printed it onto a piece of wood from a dear friend with repurposed latex paint and water. I love the way the paint-tinted water naturally formed the organic vein-like shapes under the pressure of my hand. They communicate the energy that I give and get when I spend time in nature; I recharge.
